TRD’s performance parts are purely cosmetic, so there are no modifications under the hood. In the US, the 2022 NX is available with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine rated at 203 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque or a more powerful 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbo engine pumping out 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque.
Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission that sends power either to the front or all four wheels. More powerful electrified versions are also available: the 350h hybrid delivers 239 hp, while the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid is rated at 302 hp. In the US, pricing for the 2022 Lexus NX starts at $37,950 plus a $1,075 destination charge.
