For GM, adding more hardcore off-road trucks is an easy choice, as even the second-hand market struggles to keep up with the demand for these types of vehicles. GM started the Colorado off-road range with the ZR2 back in 2016, and by 2023, the company plans to offer a Chevrolet Silverado ZR2, and the highly anticipated GMC Hummer EV.
