Picked up a very tidy low mileage 1997 850 GLT a few weeks ago to compliment my XC90
One family owned until a year ago when it was sold to the chap I purchased it from.
It has travelled a total of 59,000 miles and came with 3 x A4 folders of paperwork and history
It had an aftermarket timing belt change a couple of weeks before I bought the car, unfortunately whoever changed it never checked the waterpump as it was seeping a small amount of coolant.
I’ve now fitted new genuine waterpump, timing belt, tensioner, idler pulley, serpentine belt, tensioner, idler pulley, air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter, oil filter and headlamp wiper blades, fresh Castrol oil and new set of tyres.
The car was supplied with a full set of new aftermarket brake discs (rotors) and pads and I’ve fitted them for the time being only because they were included in the price and they are a lot better than the original discs which were showing their age. I still have a few bits and pieces to do to get the car up to spec
