This Is What A Cadillac-Made Corvette Z06 Would Look Like

The sketch, penned by GM designer Robin Krieg, bears an awful lot of resemblance to the Corvette Z06. The front splitter is very large and very carbon, just like the one on the Z06. Moving up the body, there’s also a slightly trapezoidal intake similar to that on the Z06. It’d be tough to call them “canards,” but there’s some body-color deflectors that look a lot like the ones on the Z06, too. While the hood’s design is very different, it does still have a power dome like the one on the Z06.

Of course, there’s also some traditionally “Cadillac” design nods. The run-down DRLs are loosely reminiscent of the Escalade, and the car’s hyper-angular design doesn’t just mimic the Z06, it reminds us a lot of the wedgy CTS-V Coupe. That said, the rest of the car is a design all its own. We’re especially taken by the hood vents near the windscreen.
